We believe that professional-quality prints shouldn’t come at the planet’s expense, which is why we’re committed to constantly evolving the way we work to minimise our environmental impact wherever we can. We’ve made large strides so far in reducing our impact and we’re proud to continue on our journey to a more sustainable future.
We’re always looking at how we can reduce our footprint, and that means consistently reviewing every step of our process. From how we source materials, package orders, to the logistics behind their delivery. We also ensure that we exclusively work with suppliers who share our values and are actively reducing waste and emissions across their own operations.
Our Impact
We are continuously looking at our product processes and packaging to further improve our global footprint. We work exclusively with responsible suppliers who are actively reducing their waste and CO2 emissions whilst consciously working with environmentally friendly materials. We are constantly reviewing our carbon footprint and developing new processes to continue to reduce our emissions. From delivery logistics to material sourcing, there is not a single element within our business that has not been reviewed and revised.
Our Impact

We work exclusively with responsible suppliers who are actively reducing their waste and CO2 emissions and are consciously working with environmentally friendly materials. Shipping & Delivery
Our orders are shipped using 100% plastic-free packaging that can be recycled or reused. We use cardboard boxes, paper bubble wrap, and recyclable paper tape, consciously choosing every material to keep our impact low.
To get your order to you quickly and responsibly, we work with DPD for next-day delivery, who provide excellent tracking and delivery rates, and are also committed to reaching net zero by 2040. Additionally, we offer white-label shipping, so you can deliver directly to your clients without the need to repackage, ultimately saving time, energy, and resources.
Carefully Selected Materials
Every material we use has been chosen with purpose. From the paper we print on to the frame mouldings we build with, everything is selected for both its quality and its environmental credentials. Our professional papers are all FSC-certified (Forest Stewardship Council), which means they meet the strict requirements for sustainable printing.
Any paper offcuts or unusable cardboard are recycled responsibly through an open-loop cycle, meaning they’ll be turned into new, recyclable products, not sent to landfill.
Our Workshop
Every product we make is produced in our workshop because it gives us full control over quality, reduces transport emissions, and helps us cut down on unnecessary waste.
We use traditional skills and craft-based techniques to create prints, frames, and mounts that are built to last. We also train our own team in-house, keeping those skills alive while making sure every piece that leaves our studio is made with care.
Our entire workspace runs on 100% renewable energy, supplied by a provider that’s been supporting the UK’s shift to net zero since 2001. The building itself has been designed with energy efficiency in mind, from insulation that keeps heat in during winter to airflow that keeps things cool in summer, all to keep our energy use low and our footprint even lower.
Tone Forest
We believe that it is important to provide a product and service that is doing right by the environment, that our customers can feel confident in purchasing. With all of the recent improvements to reduce our emissions, we are committed to continue minimising our impact with all of our operations.
With every Tone Imaging order placed, we will be planting a tree on behalf of our customers at no extra cost to you! Each tree planted will be attached to a project within Ecologi’s global reforestation mix. Its journey can be tracked and followed to see the difference it is making for our ecosystem. So as well as buying an environmentally-friendly product, you can also let your clients know that they are making incredible donations to our world by purchasing from you.

100% Renewable
We’re proud to partner with conscious suppliers, which is why all the energy used in our workshop is produced using 100% renewable power. Our energy supplier exclusively provides renewable power and has been helping the UK transition to net zero since 2001. Our workshop is well insulated to keep warm in the winter months and provide cool airflow in warmer weather, reducing our overall energy usage and CO2 emissions throughout the year.
